PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the responsiveness at the time of supplying hydrogen in a hydrogen supply device provided with a hydrogen storage vessel made of a carbon based material. SOLUTION: The hydrogen supply device is provided with a hydrogen storage vessel and supplies hydrogen stored in the hydrogen storage vessel to a hydrogen consumption equipment. Carbon base material 1a and a hydrogen occluding alloy 2a are used as the hydrogen storage vessel. Where the minimum pressure of hydrogen released from the carbon base material 1a to supply to the hydrogen consumption equipment 3 is expressed by Pmin, the plateau pressure of the hydrogen occluding alloy 2a is expressed by Pmh and the hydrogen supply pressure to the hydrogen consumption equipment 3 is expressed by Pcs, the relation of Pmin>Pmh>Pcs is satisfied. A control part 8 for controlling the temperature of hydrogen occluding alloy 2a is provided. A hydrogen consumption prediction signal A based on the prediction of the hydrogen consumption in the hydrogen consumption equipment 3, a signal B of the pressure of the hydrogen storage vessel 1 and a signal C of the temperature of the hydrogen occluding alloy 2a are inputted to the control part 8. |
