PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a TIG welding method capable of assuring deep penetration. SOLUTION: In conducting TIG welding, a flux cored wire including the flux containing a metal oxide of >=6.0 mass % for a wire whole mass is used for a filler material, welding is conducted while a metal oxide of 0.05-3.0 g/min is supplied into a fused metal. Further, welding is conducted while a metal oxide of 0.05-3.0 g/min is preferably supplied into a fused metal. Further, it is preferably that the metal oxide contains a Ti oxide of >=50 mass %.
