PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise generated in any one of various coating booths to coating operators and to prevent coating materials from sticking to rough baffle plates installed for uniformaing wind velocity at the opening in the booth. SOLUTION: The baffle plates for a water stream are formed in vertical lines at horizontal intervals in the opening in the coating booth so that water fed to an overflow vessel placed at the upper part may overflow and flow down to the above baffle plates to form a water film.
