PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing a sheet medium by a sheet processing device. SOLUTION: This sheet processing method comprises a step for moving an individual medium sheet from a first position 24 to a processing position of the sheet processing device, a step for processing a first face side of the medium sheet at the processing position, a step for moving the sheet from the processing position to engage a front fringe of the sheet with a surface producing in the radial direction over whole sheet moving roller assembly 50, a step for rotating the moving roller assembly 50 in a predetermined direction to move the front fringe to either of two nips forming a sheet feeding path extended among the moving roller assembly, a first sheet guide 27, and a second sheet guide 29 from the processing position on the surface as the front fringe moves, and a step for gripping an opposite face side of the sheet by predetermined wither of the nips to rotate the moving roller assembly 50 in the direction in which the sheet is pulled between the roller assembly and the related guide so as to move the sheet from the processing position to a processed sheet position 34.
