PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a copolymerized polyester resin suitable for the production of a thick-walled injection molded article having excellent impact resistance and high transparency with faint color. SOLUTION: The copolymerized polyester resin for injection molding is a polyester containing terephthalic acid as a main dicarboxylic acid component and ethylene glycol as a main diol component wherein 5-50 mol% of the total diol component is 2-methyl-1,3-propanediol.
