PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for controlling electronic commerce are provided to exactly carry out the goods order and delivery between a purchaser and a supplier, who use different language, in multinational Internet electronic commerce. CONSTITUTION: Purchasers(A,B) using different kinds of language access a vendor server(20) through Internet(10) using their computers. In the vendor server(20), a plurality of shopping malls(A-N) which introduce their goods using their respective languages are registered. A multinational translation system(30) is installed between Internet(10) and the vendor server(20). When a purchaser wants to purchase goods, the multinational translation system(30) translates the contents related to the order of goods into his country's language so that he can easily purchase desired goods. Also, if the purchaser puts a check mark on an order sheet to select a supplier, the multinational translation system(30) translates the contents of the order sheet into the selected supplier's language and provides it to him.
