PURPOSE: A web domain searching method is provided to search for Internet domain names sequentially according to inputted characters. CONSTITUTION: A web server executes a search program in a memory and provides a web domain search screen to a plurality of screen output devices connected through Internet(S301). The web server judges whether search characters are inputted from the screen output devices and search commands are generated(S303). In case that a search character is inputted from a screen output device, the web server executes the search program and recognizes the inputted search character(S305). The web server transfers a search command to request a database to search for the domain names beginning with the inputted search character(S307). The database finds out all the domain names beginning with the inputted search character and provides them to the web server. The web server temporarily stores the searched domain names in a domain storage part(S309). At the same time, the web server provides the searched names to the screen output device(S311).
