METHOD FOR PROCESSING ONLINE BILL

PURPOSE: A method for processing online bills is provided to execute the generation, reception, transmission and payment operation of bills through networks on line. CONSTITUTION: The online bill system receives bill information from a company(501) and checks its integrity through an integrated bill server(502). If there is no abnormality in the integrity of the bill information, the system judges whether the bill information is to be transmitted by mail or on line(503). If the bill information has to be transmitted by mail, the system prints the bill(504). In case that the bill information has to be transmitted on line, the system stores it in a spool database(505). A bill presentment server updates the contents of various databases using the data(506). The server judges whether scheduling for the updated databases is required(507). If the updated databases are scheduled, the server transfers newly scheduled on-line bills to users by e-mail(509).
