PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piano handle-type switch, which is capable of increasing the capacity of the electric current in comparison with conventional constitution. SOLUTION: This switching body 1 is formed by accommodating a switching mechanism part having a push button handle 32 to be pushed and operated on its front surface and reversing alternately a contact every operation of the push-button handle 32 in a housing 5 capable of being mounted on a mount frame used in an embedded type wiring instrument. A piano handle pivoted to a device body 5 in opposition to the push button handle 32 is arranged at a front face side of the device body 5. A terminal, composed of a terminal board 18, a terminal screw 317 and a nut 319 screwed on the terminal screw 317, is accommodated in a terminal accommodating chamber 13 of a body 5b forming the device body 5, and a terminal composed of a terminal board 15, a terminal screw 321, and a nut 316 screwed on the terminal screw 321 is accommodated in a terminal accommodating chamber 14. The body 5b is provided with an electric wire insertion port and window holes 313a, 314a for screw facing to head parts of the terminal screws 317, 321.
