PURPOSE: A method for using an eating-inducing attractant is provided, which is used for cockroaches to extremely efficiently catch cockroaches in the buildings, for example, the cockroaches living in houses, restaurants, buffets and the like, and has high attracting efficiency. CONSTITUTION: This method for using the eating-inducing attractant for cockroaches is characterized by imparting to a container the eating-inducing attractant which is used for cockroaches and contains an evaporating soft fruit-based flavor comprising at least two of ethyl acetate, ethyl butyrate, amyl acetate, and amyl butyrate as main ingredients.
