PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor extracting information buried in a picture, working extracted information into the picture and outputting it and to provide the processing method. SOLUTION: The information processor has an operating system 202 and a scanner driver 211, is connected to a scanner 120 reading an original and converting it into a picture signal and accumulates picture data which is read by operating the scanner 120. An electronic watermark extraction module 213 extracts information buried in picture data which is read by a scanner control module 212 and a picture work control module 215 works picture data based on the extracted result.
