PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit use of a passenger ticket medium in a time zone, when the ticket is normally not to be used, a prescribed number of times even in the case of the passenger ticket medium like a time differential type commutation ticket to which this time zone is set and to collect the fare later. SOLUTION: An automatic ticket examination machine is provided with a read means which reads data recorded in the passenger ticket medium (time differential type commutation ticket) thrown into a main body of the machine, an extraction means which extracts the frequency, with which the passenger ticket medium has been used under a prescribed condition that it is not to be used (the frequency with which it has been used in the rush hours), from read data, and a rejection means which rejects entrance/leaving at the time that the extracted frequency reaches a preliminarily determined frequency. |
