PURPOSE:To obtain a highly accurate image with good energy efficiency, by a method wherein the transfer characteristic of the part corresponding to the image of a transfer layer is selectively made low by applying light or heat to remove the part other than the image of the transfer layer and the transfer layer becoming only the image part is transferred to a medium to be transferred. CONSTITUTION:In a latent image forming process A, the energy applied in order to form a latent image is one or more kind of heat and light and, by combining heat and light, the latent image having a composite color is obtained. As the removal method in a transfer process B, transfer due to heating and auxiliary pressurization is pref. used. Continuously supplied thin paper and a rubber roll 4 are used as release members and a transfer layer is transferred and wiped off or mechanically stripped. As a transfer recording medium, a medium capable of forming latent image in a transfer recording layer by the change in physical properties due to several kinds of energies is used. Since no energy is applied to a white part having a large area, the energy for forming the latent image may be reduced. |
