PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation curable composition useful as a matrix material for optical fiber ribbons. SOLUTION: In the radiation curable matrix material for fixing the optical fiber coated and ink colored in a ribbon shape object, the matrix material contains the following, (a) a polyether based aliphatic urethane acrylate; (b) a monomer having a plurality of acrylate parts or metacrylate parts; (c) an acrylate or metacrylate monomer having an alkyl part including a 7-18C; and (d) a photo initiator optionally.
