PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space heater producing a high-quality amenity in which a circulating flow can be produced in a radiant heating operation to provide an air flow imperceptible to the user. SOLUTION: The space heater is provided with a blower 26 for supplying air flow in the upper part of the heater. An outlet 26A for the air flow is made in the upper part of the blower 26 to let out air to the front part of the apparatus, making a circulation of the air in the room. A temperature detector 28 is provided to an inlet 27 for the blower 26. Thus a circulation flow of the air in the room is produced from the upper part to below in a manner that the upper air in the room is pushed downwards, and then the air is sucked again by the apparatus.
