PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a kit for measuring easily an antigen RCAS1 concerned in a tumor at high sensitivety. SOLUTION: The RCAS1 in a specimen is measured by an immunological method including a step for making the specimen react with the first anti-RCAS1 antibody bonded specifically to the RCAS1, a step for labelling the first reaction product generated in the step hereinbefore, and a step for measuring a labelled amount in the labeled first reaction product. Recombinant RCAS1 is used as the RCAS1. A monoclonal antibody derived from an SiSo cell strain is used as the first anti-RCAS1.
