PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constitution of a recovering and trapping vessel and a means thereof, which aims at reproduction in a short time in order to cope with a constructing method of an air conditioner, which takes environmental affects into consideration. SOLUTION: The vessel for recovering and trapping carbon dioxide gas used for constructing an air conditioner, is constructed such that an outdoor unit wherein refrigerant gas is sealed in a compressor or an outdoor heat exchanger, is connected, through connection piping, to an indoor unit wherein the interior of an indoor heat exchanger is open in the air, and that the air in the indoor heat exchanger is replaced with carbon dioxide gas and then the carbon dioxide gas is recovered and trapped. Inside the vessel is filled with carbon dioxide gas trapping agent and the surrounding is provided with metal plates capable of induction heating.
