PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric fan having excellent appearance and durability. SOLUTION: The fan has a door comprising two turnable shells 14, 15 which close the front face 11 of the fan wherein the door is opened/closed by means of a motor 24 having a drive gear 23 engaging with transmission means 14A, 15A formed on the side wall of the shells. Transmission means 14B, 15B meshing each other are provided on the side wall of the shells. The door provided by the shells 14, 15 is more satisfactory aesthetically than a door of prior art. Since the door sustains open state when it is fully opened once, power supply to the motor 24 is not required. |
