PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a music playing device, a music playing game device, and a recording medium capable of giving reality to a player as if he/she were involved in the performance of the music in accordance with this invention, while a conventional game device or the like using music have not been able to give a feeling to a player as if he/she were involved in the performance of the music. SOLUTION: These are a music playing device, a music playing game device, and a recording medium wherein a CPU 1 detects a swing speed and amplitude of an operation part 13 based on the movements of the operation part 13, and makes an audio processing part 11 play the music information read out of a recording medium control part 12 by setting a sound volume based on the amplitude and setting a playing tempo based on the swing speed.
