PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel mounting structure of building or the like capable of improving drainage function, assembling efficiency, earthquake resistance, workability and architectural design efficiency at a low cost. SOLUTION: The panel mounting structure of building or the like includes a plurality of battens 17 and panels 23. On end of each of a pair of opposite walls 3 is formed in each of panel holders 5 for the panels, a parting board 7 is erected between a pair of opposite walls to divide a space between a pair of opposite walls into a drain 8 and an opening storage space 9, a screw member such as bolt 11, nut 13, screw 15 or the like located at the drain side is supported by the parting board to penetratingly support a clipper plate 14 by a screw section of the nut and screw through a loose hole, at the same time, both ends of the clipper plate are respectively widened in the diection of the parting board to incline, and a flat spring supressively energizing the clipper plate in the counter direction of the parting board is made to lie between the parting board and clipper plate. A lip gasket 18 for the panel is provided to one end of each of the battens 17, and an engaging claw 19 for engaging with the side of the clipper plate is provided to the other end.
