PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ticket issuing machine which enables a customer to use a coupon ticket card to purchase a passenger ticket. SOLUTION: The automatic ticket issuing machine is comprised of a read means which reads data recorded in a coupon ticket card inserted to a main body of the machine, an extraction means which extracts the remaining frequency in use of the inserted coupon ticket card from read data, a setting means which sets the number of passenger tickets to be issued from the main body, and an issue means which issues the set number of passenger tickets for a riding section related to the coupon ticket card when the extracted remaining frequency in use of the coupon ticket card is equal to or larger than the set number of passenger tickets.
