The assembled furniture element consists of several profiled parts joined by tongue and groove method. Gaps between facing end sides of adjacent profiled parts are closed by a flexible seal in the form of a rubber ring or of a plastic support ring with an application of a heat-hardening adhesive. The seal is a profiled seal with main section and attachment.
