The renovation system, to dry out a building and extract water from under the foundations (3), is fitted at the lowest point of the building so that the raised surface water (14) can flow into a perforated or slitted outer pipe (8) of the system from all directions. The collected water is pumped out by an immersion pump (10) over the water level (12) under control.
