<p>A transponder with memory for non-contact read-out, serves as application data memory, arranged on a flat card- or folder-shaped document carrier (18) of defined format. Memory of a further similar transponder is employed similarly for personnel data, on e.g. a card of differing geometric form. Cards are accommodated in push-in slots (29) of the terminal casing, to be read by an electromagnetic transceiver of the terminal (10). The terminal has a clocked control unit interrogating transponder memory periodically.</p> |
