The invention relates to a device for the electrically conducting contacting of an electrically conducting part of an outer surface of a tube, a cable, or the like, in particular a coaxial cable's outer conductor bared in sections. The device has a body (4) abutting the element to be contacted in the mounted position, said body (4) consisting at least partially of elastic material. According to the invention the elastic material of the body (4) contains at least one at least partially vulcanized ethylene-propylene rubber. The device (2) according to the invention can be produced simply and cost-effectively as well as being usable in a variety of ways, for example as a device provided with contact means for the electrically conducting contacting of an electrically conducting part of an, in particular oblong, for example essentially cylindrical, body, for example a tube or cable (32).
