The enclosure which comprises two parts (2,3) joined along a plane (P1) has a static joint (5) housed in a groove (6) in the end face (7) of the first part. The second part comprises a flange (8) with a face (9) supported on the joint. The flange has an overhanging zone (12) radially outside the joint which has a face (11) spaced from the end face of the first part. The flange fixing screws (4) act on the overhanging zone with a significant pre-stress.
