PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin composition that gives thin wall moldings of high rigidity. SOLUTION: The objective thermoplastic resin composition comprises (A) 95-5 wt.% of an amorphous polyamide resin and (B) 5-95 wt.% of a liquid crystal polymer and individual bend elastic constants that are measured with the specimens of 1/4 inch, 1/8 inch and 1/16 inch shows the following values: the ratio of 1/4 inch bend elastic constant (S1/4) to 1/8 inch bend elastic constant (S1/8) [S1/8/S1/4] is >=1.05 and the ratio of 1/4 inch bend elastic constant (S1/4) to 1/16 inch bend elastic constant (S1/16) [S1/16/S1/4] is >=1.1.
