摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece cutting device and a workpiece cutting method capable of improving cutting accuracy and prolong the life of a cutting blade even in cutting of a comparatively thick workpiece. SOLUTION: The workpiece cutting device 10 includes a plurality of cutting blades 36 on each of which super abrasive grain 42 is scattered over the whole surface of a metal plating phase 40. A workpiece 56 formed of a rare earth alloy magnetic member is immersed in a coolant 52 inside a container 50. The cutting blade 36 is rotated at a high speed above 8000 rpm and moved from the vertical direction or from the normal direction of a contact between the cutting blade 36 and the workpiece 56 toward the workpiece 56 so as to cut the workpiece 56 immersed in the coolant 52. In cutting, the coolant 52 may be fed to a cutting part 60 from a hose 58. In cutting, the workpiece 56 is vibrated vertically to the face direction of the cutting blade 36 and the cutting direction. A groove 36b is formed in the tip of the cutting blade, and between the cutting blades, a spacer 38a having an annular stepped part 38b in each outer circumference of the main face is inserted desirably.
