PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric regeneration type desalting apparatus enhanced in stability by preventing the phenomenon that the openings of grooves for allowing a liquid to flow in and flow out of the central notch part filled with an ion exchanger of a chamber frame are closed by the ion exchanger to obstruct the flow of the liquid. SOLUTION: In the electric regeneration type desalting apparatus wherein a desalting chamber and a concentration chamber are arranged between electrode chambers and the space of each chamber is held by a chamber frame, which is equipped with a central notch part and a hole for forming a passage, forming the desalting chamber or concentration chamber and the central notch part is filled with an ion exchanger and cation exchange membranes or anion exchange membranes are alternately arranged between at least a part of the chambers, the liquid flow passage allowing the central notch part 7 to communicate with a hole is constituted of a plurality of grooves 10 and the recessed parts communicating with the central notch part 7 are provided to at least the liquid outflow parts of the parts opened to the central notch part 7 of the grooves 10 and the grooves 10 are opened to the recessed parts.
