PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device of a construction machine displaying a position of a front work machine and capable of corresponding to a failure and changes of specifications easily at a low cost when the failure occurs and the specification are changed and improving the operation property as the display device. SOLUTION: This display device consisting of a display part displaying a position of the front work machine, an operation part switching and operating display contents to be displayed in the display part, and a control part for display controlling display contents to be displayed in the display part in accordance with switching operation of the operation part is not integrally constituted, but is constituted by dividing it into each unit of a display device 41, a control unit for display 42, and an operation device 43. Consequently for any unit failure and changed in specification it is not necessary to replace the whole display device. It is possible to cope with them by the replacement and change of the unit. Each unit constituted independently is arranged in proper section in a driver's cab, thereby allowing to confirm display and switch display contents easily.
