The piston components of the rotary piston engine are constructed as working rotors(30) and compression rotors(60). One of the rotors is shaft-free and equipped with support rollers(32) on its periphery for which is provided a cylindrical guide track(44) inside the housings(20,22) for the rotors. The support rollers are rotatably mounted in an engine core(40) which is encircled by the guide track. The support rollers lie upon the guide track by one section of their circumferential surface. |
