PURPOSE: A lottery sales system using a communication network and a method thereof are provided to buy and hold the lottery everywhere by using a lottery terminal connected with the communication network. CONSTITUTION: A display unit displays a lottery menu for guiding a purchasing a lottery(S21). According to the lottery menu, a desired lottery is selected(S22). The selected lottery is purchased by cash or a credit card(S23). The purchased lottery is issued(S24). The lottery number of the issued lottery is transmitted to a control system by input keys(S25). The transmitted lottery number is held by a holding button(S26). The winning or the losing of the lottery is determined(S27). The result of the winning or the losing is displayed(S28,S29). In the case of the winning, the winner is identified(S29). A method for receiving a prize money is selected(S30). According to the method, the prize money is supplied to the winner(S31). |
