PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new structure to cope with the difficulty in a design change of a circuit where signal processing and controlling circuits and driver circuits have been constituted on a sheet of a substrate in a conventional disk device. SOLUTION: A driver substrate 45 consisting of a magnetic head driver 51, an RF-AMP 52, a pickup driver 54, a loading motor driver 56 and an elevator motor river 57 for controlling an elevator motor 43, etc., is separated from a signal processing substrate 44 constituted of the signal processing and controlling circuits consisting of DSP 61 and CPU 62, DRAM 63, SRAM 64 and product ROM 65, etc., and they are connected through a connector 70.
