PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device to prioritize use of fundamental processing resources of a multi-functional printing system for processing images having multiply divided bands. SOLUTION: A control part with an improved job contention manager(JCM) is used for the printing system. Stand-by matrixes are provided to each of the plural fundamental resources of the printing resources. A sub-job of the image with many divided bands of a prescribed job is transferred by transmitting a signal to the JCM at a desired moment of time by one or more kinds of job service. Information about priority, divided-band numbers of each sub-job and the total divided number of the image are included in a signal on each divided band. The JCM adds, corresponding fundamental resource sub-jobs to the stand-by matrixes of each fundamental resource to be required for execution of the sub-job, according to a signal from the job service. Plural divided bands are combined into a single image for further processing, after the last divided band of the image is transferred. |
