<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic equipment system and an electronic equipment such that a personal computer can accommodate a remote control making it possible to downsize the personal computer and to improve its portability, and such that if the personal computer and the remote control are connected with signal input/output cables, the remote control and the cables too can be accommodated. SOLUTION: The electronic equipment system comprises an electronic equipment 1 and a remote control 10 which remotely controls the electronic equipment 1, and is characterized as follows: the remote control 10 has a connection cable 12 which detachably connects the electronic equipment 1 with the remote control 10 so as to transmit and receive signals; and the electronic equipment 1 has recessed parts 25, 26 which are formed to respectively fit the outer peripheries of the remote control 10 and the connection cable 12. When a wireless remote control is used, it is preferable to form only the recessed part 25.</p> |
