摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely mount a reinforcing wall having easy and sufficient joint strength on an existing building. SOLUTION: When the reinforcing wall 3 is installed between upper and lower beams in the existing building, the upper and lower sections of the reinforcing wall are joined with the upper and lower beams, both upper-lower end sections of wall bars 7 in the reinforcing wall are anchored to the upper and lower beams through post-attachment anchors 8, and reinforcing steel plates 9 for ensuring the anchoring strength of the post-attachment anchors are set up onto both side faces of the beam 1 on the upper side. The lower sections of the reinforcing steel plates are fitted so as to be superposed to the upper section of the reinforcing wall, and anchoring members 11 anchored to the reinforcing wall are secured into the lower sections of the reinforcing steel plates. The reinforcing steel plates installed onto both side faces of the beam are clamped and fixed mutually by clamping bolts 10 penetrated to the beam. The reinforcing steel plates are mounted extending over the overall length of both side faces of the beam while the reinforcing steel plate is set up even onto the base of the beam and the beam is reinforced. The reinforcing wall 3 is fitted as a vertical wall 4 and a spandrel wall and a vibration control damper is secured between these walls. The reinforcing wall is mounted as a mullion wall.
