ELECTRON EMISSION DEVICE OF THREE POLE STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron emission device having a three pole structure using electric field emission materials. SOLUTION: In a two pole electron emission device using electric field materials of prior arts, there is disposed on a substrate below a cathode a gate electrode for extracting electrons from the cathode formed from the electric field materials so that the device is easily manufactured. The electrons emitted from the electric field material are controlled by controlling a gate voltage.
