PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find proper conditions for actual photographing and to easily set the photographic conditions. SOLUTION: An electronic camera 1 which photographs a subject with a semiconductor image pickup element 5 is equipped with input means 32, 25, and 26 which accept correction inputs of photographic conditions of preliminary photographing when a preliminary photograph of the subject is taken, condition setting means 32, 47, and 33 which set photographic conditions corrected by the input mean for photographing, and display means 41 and 14 which display characteristic information extracted from an image obtained by the preliminary photographing. |
