PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact positioning apparatus with a communication function capable of eliminating the effects of radio waves for communications and performing positioning, on the basis of satellite radio waves from positioning satellites. SOLUTION: The positioning apparatus 10 has both a satellite radio wave receiving antenna 16 for receiving satellite radio waves from the positioning satellites and a communications antenna 18 for transmitting transmission radio waves for communication and comprises both an offset radio wave generating device 21 for receiving transmission radio waves of radio wave intensities that are in the same range as the transmission radio waves received by the satellite radio wave receiving antenna 16 and generating radio waves for offset, radio waves in phase opposite to the phase of the transmission radio waves received by the satellite radio wave receiving antenna 16 and a transmission radio wave offset device 16c for offsetting the transmission radio waves, received by the satellite radio wave receiving antenna 16 with the radio waves for offsetting.
