FREQUENCY OFFSET DETECTING DEVICE FOR MULTICARRIER TRANSMISSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily detect the offset of a carrier frequency which causes transmission characteristics of multicarrier transmission to deteriorate. SOLUTION: A subtracting circuit 3 outputs (ID1-ID2) and a maximum value circuit outputs max (ID1, ID2). The outputted signals are inputted to a dividing circuit, which performs division and outputs ((ID1-ID2)/max(ID1, ID2)). Further, the signal obtained by extracting the output of the dividing circuit in synchronism with the signal from a peak detecting circuit is the output signal of this frequency offset detecting circuit.
