The casing has a book structure for CD pockets increasing capacity inside a rigid box. The casing for compact discs comprises an un-breakable plastic box which either a single or a double housing. This contains a stack of flexible pockets for accommodating CDs. The pockets are held together like the pages of a book by heat-welding along a common edge. A sliding cover (5) fits into the box and has the effect of locking the CDs in place when closed. The sliding cover is kept closed by magnets. The cover may include a steel plate to protect the CDs, with projecting tabs running in tracks within rails formed in the walls of the box.
|
