PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent degradation of an image by preventing effectively the vibration of the deflector of a plurality of optical scanning modules arrayed on a substrate. SOLUTION: In the optical scanner, where a plurality of optical scanning modules 101-103 which housed a light emitting source 1 and an optical system having a deflector 5 for deflecting and scanning repeatedly a light beam from this light emitting source 1 in the same holding frame body are arrayed on the same substrate 104, the deflector 5 is disposed at a position separated by a prescribed distance from the position used as the loop of the vibration at the time of the vibration of the substrate 104. The deflector 5 and also be disposed at the position which becomes the node of the vibration at the time of the vibration of the substrate 104, or near the node. The optical scanning modules 101-103 can also be asymmetrically arrayed on the substrate. |
