PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor which can assure the mechanical strength and increase a reluctance torque. SOLUTION: In a so-called synchronous reluctance motor and embedded magnet type motor in which a plurality of windows 2a to 2d are provided in a rotor in the manner that interval becomes almost parallel and a reluctance torque depending on a magnetic resistance difference between the axis d and axis 1 depending on the rotor position generated with these windows is used as at least one reason for torque generation, a plurality of windows 6a to 6c (called the second windows) are provided from the external circumference of rotor at the location between a plurality of windows 2a to 2d (called the first windows) and thereby a magnetic resistance of the axis d is not lowered while a sufficient mechanical strength is attained.
