PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system corresponding to the change of the size of an object such as the difference of the size of a face without providing an optical zooming mechanism. SOLUTION: Fluorescent lamps 4a-4d to uniformly illuminate the head part of a person seated at a chair 1c are provided in the periphery of a photographing optical axis 8 in a system main body la. Then, the person whose size of the face is different is seated at the chair 1c as the object, and photographing is performed under a uniform illuminating condition. By a modeling system 10 provided at the inside of the system main body 1a, a specified image frame is set for an image data obtained as the result of the photographing and only an image part included within the image frame is extracted. The positional adjustment and the area adjustment of the image frame are freely performed by operating a mouse 6. Thus, even in the case that the size of the object such as the head part of the person differs in each photographing, only a necessary part is extracted. |
