PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a R-Fe-B permanent magnet of superior in electrical insulation, where the magnetic characteristics will not deteriorate with thermosetting process of an insulating film and the electrical insulation will not be impaired by damages of the insulating film in handling. SOLUTION: In the R-Fe-B permanent magnet, a base metal layer of a film thickness of 2-15 μm is formed on the surface of the R-Fe-B permanent magnet body, and an electrical insulating film of a film thickness of 5-50 μm is formed on the base metal layer. In the electrical insulating film, a resin film component is a polyfunctional epoxy resin, a polyimide resin or a polyamide-imide resin and further, solid lubricant grains are dispersed in the resin film. |
