PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ID number setting system which can automatically set IDs of respective terminals constituting a network. SOLUTION: This is an automatic identification number setting system for terminals T connected to one central controller 10 in series and the central controller 10 setting identification numbers to the terminals T in order according to request-to-send signals that the terminals T send in response to an ID setting command from the central controller 10.
