PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a low-price and stabilized AC generator for vehicle which can reduce distortion and waving of a stator yoke. SOLUTION: This AC generator is provided with a stator yoke 15 having a laminated iron core 36 and a multiple phase stator coil 16 which is comprised over the predetermined slot intervals. In the laminated iron core 36, a plurality of main lamination plates 36d are laminated to form the main lamination body, the laminated body is formed by laminating the terminal plate 36e having the rigidity higher than that of the main lamination plate 36d at one end surface of the main lamination body, a multiple phase stator coil 16 is allocated within a slot 15a and it is formed like a ring because it is bent with the slot aperture located at the internal side and both end portions are placed in contact with each other. |
