PURPOSE: A method for determining the trouble of an idle speed controller for a vehicle is provided to determine the trouble of an idle speed controller with more accuracy. CONSTITUTION: A method for determining the trouble of an idle speed controller for a vehicle comprises the steps of: determining a value of an I-controller; reading an engine rpm; comparing a maximum value of the I-controller with the engine rpm if the value of an I-controller is equal to the maximum value; and determining that the idle speed controller has the trouble when the difference between a maximum value of the I-controller and the engine rpm is less than a predefined value.
