<p>The sealing device is for a piston arranged in a working cylinder with a piston rod guide having annular recesses (5) containing elastic sealing rings (6) and guide bands (8). At least one additional slot (13) for an additional elastic sealing ring (14) is configured in the rod guide or a cylinder ring (12), which is connected to the pressure chamber or working chamber and concentrically surrounds the piston rod. Devices are also provided, if required, to apply forces from outside radially to the piston rod onto the additional sealing ring, to move or deform it from a non-sealing to a sealing position.</p> |
