PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling exhaust gas recirculation by using a governor is provided to effectively control an exhaust gas amount recirculated into a combustion chamber by using the precise mechanical operation of the governor according to a fuel injection amount of an injection pump. CONSTITUTION: A recirculating pipe(1) connects an exhaust pipe(2) to an intake pipe(3) in order to supply exhaust gas passing the exhaust pipe to the intake pipe. An EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve(4) opens/closes the inlet to the intake pipe of the recirculating pipe. A partial vacuum cylinder(6) is connected to a partial vacuum pipe(5) to operate the EGR valve by forming partial vacuum. A cable(10) connects a starting lever(9) of a governor and the partial vacuum cylinder, and transmits the motion of the starting lever to vary a vacuum amount formed in the partial vacuum cylinder. |
